Is this game worth 15 bucks to me personally no. 10 bucks Seems like a fair deal simply because i feel like i have played this game for free. The game was called bierzerkers and the game is completley dead now. But it was still a fun game you get a sheep and had to throw it to score. But the rounds would end so quick before you even get to fight at times. So back to this game.Early Access:Most games come out and fail, This game was released later than it's origonal date to release. I understand why, and i respect that. They did a good job. I did not find a whole lot wrong with the game but i did not spend hours on it either. Simply Because i feel like i've played it before with a different title on the game.So while playing this game i was the dagger guy. I was hacking and slashing everyone. I was killing people in like 1 or 2 seconds and sometimes they kill me in one hit or 1 or 2 seconds. Fast pvp action, if that is your style of game. Good:You can choose the colors you wear, What spell abilities you have, What moves you can do. For each of these there are 4 to pick from or at least for the dagger guy there was. Unlike bierzerker which was a free game and gave you only the 2 handed weapon guy,When you buy this game, You have all of them. There is a timer on the matches so you know how long you have to get stuff done.The maps are different, not all the same like bierzerkers game. Graphics are very good and i love them.I know it sounds like i am comparing Bierzerker and Overpower a'lot but those of you who have played Bierzerkers loved that game and can understand why when you play thisgame ( Overpower ).Bad:While playing the game, i felt as if i played this game before and pretty much did as i keeprepeating myself. So here we go, while i was playing the game the matches started so fast. I did not have time to really look at my loadout before others started fighting.I think there needs to be rounds for the death match not ( Respawn ) over an over. I think there needs to be meaning to playing the game, Moves to pick from, skins and all that is great but it means nothing when there is no leveling or money such as gold to be earned or aleader board to brag to your friends about. Let's start with good things :)Gameplay like in almost every MOBA or arena brawler is fun and very addicting. Biggest advantage of Overpower is great amount of playable mods and maps.In generaly I do not have to say anything negative to say about playing Overpower, it is well optimized, run smooth and no bugs or glitches noticed.Graphic, textures, models and art are very well made, no matter how demanding are you, it is satisfactory.Sound have great music and top voice-acting.Now for not so nice things;It takes a lot of confidence and courage to make a MOBA today and ask 15 bucks for it + with option to buy skins with RL money, especialy when 99% games of this genre are F2P, rest of 1% are dead. The reason I am giving a positive review is because the quality of the game is good. But I feel the developers must do something about its price. It will not be able to see the light of day on steam if it remains at its current price.. OverpowerStill In Early AccessOverpower can be best described as a combination of MOBA and MMO genres. It is a third person shooter where you have multiple game modes at your disposal. The game modes available here are Deathmatch, Team Deathmatch, Last team standing, control points and critter capture, all of which are pretty basic affairs for a multiplayer focused game. The gameplay of Overpower is fast and fluid where there is little to no complaint about the standard shooting. There are 4 classes available in Overpower which are the main selling point. They are as follows:AssassinMageRogueArcherAs is visible, all of the classes play very differently and bring a lot of different abilities to the battlefield. They all have choices of different weapons and a class ability. There is also a gem ability aside from the class abilities which are more unique such as cursing an assassin’s knife which does huge damage to the opponent. Each hero comes with his/her own 5 special gem abilities which if used correctly can turn the tide of a battle. There are 10 maps in total to play around in which is a fair amount considering it’s still in early access. The graphics of Overpower reminds me of games like Orcs must die, which I adored. There is a cartoony feel as you play the game and even when it is low-res, it looks lovely. There is a very serious lack of players online which might not be that big of a trouble when the game comes out of development. There are a couple of bugs here and there too but nothing game breaking. The game is receiving patches and updates at a fairly fast rate which makes it look like a game with high potential. Overpower caters to a lot of gamers needs with good graphics, a fair amount of maps and game modes and fleshed out character classes. This is a game which can take the full and proper use of early access and be a great game when it comes out. This review is part of the Steamified Community Review program.
